The library has stock things. For the sauna that is already there, the bench you found, or an object nobody stocks, there are three more ways to get it onto the plan.
Describe it: New AI object
- On a band that takes objects, click New AI object on the rail.
- Type what you want — a weathered oak bench with armrests, 1.8 m long — and Send. Attach a photo to match if you have one.
- Generation runs in the background; the bell in the top bar counts it. When it is done, the object appears on the plan and in 3D.
- Keep chatting to change it — make the seat lower, add a back. Every version is kept, and Restore this version goes back to one. Reroll makes a fresh one with the same description.
The Details tab holds its name and purpose; the Shape and Materials tabs show the model itself, which you can edit directly if you know your way around an OBJ file.
From photographs
- Click Place object, open My models, and choose Generate from photos.
- Add photographs — every side helps — of a building (for the structures band) or an object (for light objects). Add a name and any notes the photos do not say: sizes, materials, what to leave out.
- Generate. A minute or two later the model is ready: click the plan or the 3D view to place it.
It is a sketch of the volume, not a survey — right for seeing how the existing garage sits against the new terrace.
Upload your own
The same My models tab has Upload model for a .glb, .gltf or .obj file. Anything uploaded there is available on every plan in your workspace.
Photos of a placed object
Any object can carry site photos — select it and add them under Site photos in the sidebar. Make it a specific object with those photos and the photorealistic render reproduces that exact boulder rather than inventing one.
